Recently, the commencement ceremony of ZTT Morocco was grandly held in the duty-free zone of Tangier Automotive City in Morocco. JAAFAR, General Manager of the duty-free zone of Tangier, OMAR CHRAIBI, Director of Tangier Investment Development Authority and representatives of local government departments attended the ceremony and laid the foundation stone for this project.
At the ceremony, Miao Yingying, General Manager of ZTT Morocco, said the establishment of ZTT Morocco marks ZTT’s deeply integrating into “The Belt and Road Initiative”, actively implementing the guiding ideology of “globally allocating space for economic development to achieve high-quality growth”, and continuing to adhere to the mission of “electric-optical transmission connecting the world, meticulous manufacturing serving the global” as well as an important step to further speed up the process of internationalization.
JAAFAR, the General Manager of the duty-free zone and OMAR, the Director of the Investment Development Authority also made a speech, to congratulate ZTT on its setting up the factory in Morocco and the start of the construction of ZTT Morocco, wish ZTT Morocco to be put into operation at an early stage, and hope the development of ZTT Morocco could bring more employment opportunities to the local regions and promote the sustainable development for the local economy.

In recent years, Morocco has been stable in political situation, seen rapid economic growth and increasing investment in infrastructure and signed free trade agreements with many countries in Europe, Arabia and other regions. The prospects for its telecom and power markets are promising for a long time. After being constructed, ZTT Morocco will mainly carry out the production of conductor and fiber optic cable products. The establishment of ZTT Morocco will further consolidate the industry influence and brand reputation of ZTT in Africa, simultaneously making ZTT’s business expand to the European and Latin American markets and further promoting the building of ZTT’s international brand.
